INFORMATION PROCESSOR AND ITS FUNCTION SELECTING METHOD

PURPOSE: To improve the operability of function selection using a window without being affected by making a device into multiple functions. CONSTITUTION: An information processor displays various windows for selecting the functions such as a word processor and executes the function selected in the window. The processor generates an operator setting window W2 including only a function key corresponding to the function which an operator himself arbitrarily selects among all the character modification functions (the character modification window W1 of standard setting) which the word processor has, and it supplies the window W2 in function selection. The sizes of the individual function keys in the operator setting window W2 can arbitrarily and variably be set and visual priority can be provided among the respective functions in the window W2.
