There is provided an artificial graft prosthesis (100), having a tubular elastic body defining a lumen (105), wherein at least a portion of the body comprises a plurality of longitudinal corrugations (120). The artificial graft prosthesis of the invention is useful in surgery in mammals, including humans, especially in the formation of grafts in vascular tissue such as the formation of an arteriovenous fistula for haemodialysis access.
