<p>A simultaneous recording/reproduction apparatus capable of executing a parallel operation for simultaneously recording image signals and/or sound signals inputted through a transfer line to a recording medium and reproducing the image signal and/or the sound signal recorded on the recording medium is used as a recording/reproduction apparatus, which is controlled through a communication line by a controller. In addition, commands for the recording and reproduction operations are inputted through a graphical user interface. In consequence, an editing operation can be carried out in parallel with the recording operation. Since the progress of the operation can be visually grasped, system management becomes easier.</p> |
