Visual monitoring device of the frozen state of perishable products. The device comprises a casing attachable in a fixed manner to a container carrying frozen products, its transparent upper face being visible from the outside of the container, the said casing carrying within it an internal capsule of breakable material full of a product provided with a monitoring colour and which possesses a freezing point similar to the temperature at which the frozen articles are held, there being between said capsule and the external transparent wall an absorbent body capable of acquiring coloration in the case of contact being established with the liquid product contained in the monitoring capsule. It is applicable to containers of perishable frozen products. <IMAGE>
