The method involves feeding each individual bucket into the housing section using an automatic feed unit (6), applying lugs (5) on the buckets (1) to recesses (3) in the housing part (2), pressing the buckets against the housing part with the automatic feed unit and applying an electric voltage to the feed unit as one pole and to a counter pole on the outside of the housing section opposite each recess. The voltage is applied via the poles of an electrical resistance welding system, in order to weld the buckets to the housing section. Any gap between the outer profile of the bucket and the inner profile of the housing section is filled by molten material in the weld region.
