PURPOSE: To restrain rising of a surface temperature of an ink fountain roller by controlling a liquid quantity to be sent to a hollow tube based on a determination result of a gradation label temperature decided previously so as to control the surface temperature of the ink fountain roller. CONSTITUTION: For keeping a surface temperature of an ink fountain roller 11 constant, a non-contact type thermometric device (radiation thermometer) 23 is provided near to an ink fountain 10 at a position not interfering operating work. The surface temperature of the ink fountain roller 11 is measured by the radiation thermometer 23 and a data is captured by a control section 24. The control section 24 compares a preset temperature with the surface temperature of the ink fountain roller 11. When the surface temperature of the ink fountain roller 11 inclines to rise, a flow rate control valve 22 is operated for increasing a quantity of water. To the contrary, when the surface temperature inclines to lower, the flow rate control valve 22 is operated for decreasing the quantity of water. For the liquid temperature at this time, a liquid temperature which is not largely different from the set temperature is better for preventing rapid change of the temperature. |
