PURPOSE: To obtain PAS having excellent adhesiveness to an epoxy resin, a silicone resin or the like as well as high heat resistance and mechanical strengths. CONSTITUTION: A polyarylene sulfide comprising p-arylene sulfide units and m-arylene sulfide units and being a substantially linear polyarylene sulfide containing 0.5-10mol% based on the total of m-alylene sulfide units and p-arylene sulfide units, m-arylene sulfide units and having an alkali metal content of 200wt. ppm or below, a melt viscosity V6 of 50-3000P and a strength of bonding to an epoxy resin of 50kgf/cm<2> or above. |
