PURPOSE: To improve the work for fitting and removing a translucent cover. CONSTITUTION: This luminaire for sink has a luminaire main body 2 having nearly a U-shape cross section, in which a long size lamp 1 is held through sockets 5a, and a translucent cover 3 to be installed in the luminaire main body 2 to cover the lamp 1. In this luminaire for the sink, the translucent cover 3 is formed of a long size cover main body part 3a having nearly a gutter-like cross section and an end part 3b, which is integrally formed to seal both longitudinal ends of the cover main body part 3a and of which tip is projected from the gutter-like tip of the cover main body part 3a. Each guide piece 3c, which nearly abuts on the side wall of the luminaire main body 2 from outside, is erected on both side ends of the end part 3b, and each lock part 2c, which is energized against the luminaire main body 2 side in the longitudinal direction of the luminaire main body 2 and which is to be engaged with the end part 3b to lock the translucent cover 3, is provided in both ends of the luminaire main body 2 at a position opposite to the end part 3b. |
