PURPOSE: To provide helix rib seal which is so constituted as to reliably achieve a sufficient seal function during an actual use. CONSTITUTION: In a case the diameter D of a rotary shaft 9 with which the inner peripheral tip 8 of a seal lip part 2 is brought into slide contact is 20 mm<=D<40mm, the inclination angle α of an inclination rib 16 with the inner peripheral tip edge line 15 is set to 5 deg.<=α<=25 deg.. Further, in a case the diameter is 40mm<=D<60mm or 60mm<=D<100mm, or 100mm<=D, an inclination angle αis set to 10 deg.<=α<30 deg., 15 deg.<=α<30 deg., and 40 deg.<=α<=45 deg.. |
