PURPOSE: To provide a line light source which can prevent the reduction of the quantity of light that is caused at the parts near both ends of the light source. CONSTITUTION: A line light source 1 includes plural light emitting elements L1 , L2 , L3 ..., Ln which are arranged in a line form on a substrate 10. Then the light quantity compensating light emitting elements L0 and Ln+1 are placed at the parts near both elements L1 and Ln which are positioned at both ends of a line of elements L1 to Ln , on the position which is not on the live of elements L1 to Ln . |
