PURPOSE: To obtain a method for fixing a wire clamp in a short time. CONSTITUTION: In a method for fixing a wire clamp by fastening a wire clamp body 13 and a clamp cap 15 through compressive repellency of a resilient body, a wire 11 is gripped loosely at first by means of the clamp body 13 and the clamp cap 15 such that they can move on the wire 11. The clamp body 13 and the clamp cap 15 are then slipped on the wire 11 to a predetermined position. Finally, the clamp body 13 and the clamp cap 15 are secured to the wire 11.
