This filter cartridge is intended to absorb the odours and grease emitted by a cooking appliance, and comprises a body made of plastic material (14) having a lateral wall (21) on which two non-woven fabrics (16, 18) are fixed, which are permeable and each made from a material absorbing the greasy substances, the whole formed by the body and the two non-woven fabrics containing a deodorising substance (22). Each of the two non-woven fabrics (16; 18) has a peripheral fold (24; 26) which is applied against the lateral wall of the body by means of an annular clamping element (30; 32) mounted around the body (14) and ensuing the attachment of the corresponding non-woven fabric to the body of the cartridge.
