<p>A method for disposing of resin wastes which does not generate dioxine and comprises the step of charging resin wastes into a container cut off from the atmosphere, and the step of heating and burning the resin wastes by suppling oxygen into the container at an oxygen ratio, defined by the following formula: oxygen ratio = oxygen feed quantity/(C x 32/12 + H' x 16/2), of not greater than 1, and thermally decomposing the wastes while the temperature is kept at not lower than 500 °C. Further, the present invention provides a method of thermally decomposing the resins in the container by adding a fuel as well as oxygen at an oxygen ratio of not greater than 1, whenever necessary.</p> |
