a transparent index box(1) which has two tension projections(2)(3) having two concave grooves(4)(5) in both of them; an assembling jig(10) that has two depressed parts(12)(13) to set character drums(22) and ratchet gears(20); and two guide includes : pieces(14)(15) at both sides having two guide grooves(16)(17) for a character drum shaft(23) and a ratchet gear shaft(21). The assembling process includes : putting down the seven character drums(22) and the six ratchet gears(20) into the depressed parts(12)(13) of the assembling jig(10); inserting the shafs(23)(21) along the axes of the character drums(22) and the ratchet gears(20); and pressing down the concave grooves(4)(5) of the tension projections(2)(3) onto both ends of the shaft(23)(21).
