The method involves a first stage, in which the surface of the shuttering is given a setting delayer, and the mat given a separation compound. In a second stage, the mat is laid in the shuttering, and in a third stage exposed aggregate concrete is introduced into the shuttering. After hardening of the concrete, the wall, together with the mat, is removed from the shuttering in a fourth stage and is washed on the surface carrying the mat. During or after washing the mat is removed.
