PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimally reduce the delay of a signal that is normally inputted in an operation mode by sufficiently discharging to the ground potential even when an electrostatic signal is externally inputted in a standby mode of a circuit. SOLUTION: The signal input unit comprising an input terminal which inputs a signal, an electrostatic discharge protection means for discharging an electrostatic signal of high level from the input terminal to a ground potential Vss a signal transfer circuit part 201 connected in parallel to the electrostatic discharge protection circuit for switching a normal signal from the input terminal, a signal transfer control part for controlling a switching operation of the circuit 201 and a signal input circuit part 102 for buffering an output signal from the circuits 101 and 201 and transferring them to an internal circuit. |
