RECONFIGURATION OF ARRANGEMENT OF SOUND CODED PARAMETER BY LIST (INVENTORY) OF SORTING AND OUTLINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detailed description about an outline of a parameter by transmitting sensitively important characteristics as to a parameter in sound coding. SOLUTION: A decoder unit 201 reconstructs characteristic waveform. A scale factor processor 206 determines an appropriate scale factor to be applied to the characteristic waveform generated by means of the decoder unit 201. The scale factor found as a result is used in an amplifier 207, and the amplifier 207 outputs a properly scaled quantized characteristic waveform. This characteristic waveform is inputted to the decoder unit 203, and a description of the characteristic waveform arrangement is converted into a reconstructed sound signal by means of the decoder unit 203.
