PURPOSE: To obtain a load controller in which the product cost can be reduced through a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION: A rheostat 1 is arranged with a disc knob 8 supported rotatably about rotary shafts 9a, 9b. The rotary shaft 9a is screwed with a slider 12 which moves up and down along a guide 7 depending on the operating angle of the knob 8 while being locked in the rotational direction by means of the guide 7. The slider 12 is provided with a push rod 13 which is pressed against a printed wiring board 15 by means of a spring 14. A beam 18 is formed on the printed wiring board 15 and a strain gauge 19 is provided at the base end part of the beam 18. The beam 18 is applied wit pressure depending on the operational angle of the knob 8 by means of the rotary shaft 9a, the slider 12 and the push rod 13. The strain gauge 19 detects the pressure and produces a voltage corresponding to the pressure. |
