PURPOSE: To provide a document and graphic editing device which performs centralized management for plural documents, etc., with one file and enables the individual documents, etc., to be displayed and edited individually. CONSTITUTION: The master file 61 unifys and stores plural documents, etc., which are partially different from each other by using labels assigned to the individual documents, etc., a connection label obtained by connecting the labels, and separators as a predetermined control symbol. When a user specifies the label of one document, etc., through a data input device 4 so as to edit the document, etc., a master file expanding means 14 takes the document, etc., corresponding to the label out of the master file 61 and an expansion result display means 15 displays it on a display device 8. When the user corrects the displayed document, etc., a selection label correspondence input means 11 finds a correction result for reflecting the correction on the master file 61 and a file data generating means 12 reflects the correction result in the master file 61. |
