PURPOSE: To shorten the processing time of required material amount calculation by performing component expansion calculating processes of respective items in parallel. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with at least one MPS read part 1 which reads in MPS. Component calculation parts 4 which perform the component expansion calculating processes of the respective items are provided by as many as the items. The respective component calculation parts 4 are connected in the same relation with the component constitution of the items. The respective component calculation parts 4 advance the component expansion calculations of the respective items in parallel according to the progress state of the component expansion calculation of their master item. Thus, since the processes are advanced in parallel, a calculation result similar to that of conventional sequential necessary material amount expansion calculation can be obtained in a short time.
