PURPOSE: To obtain a new bioactive substance having eliminating activity of a bonding site of scaly leaf of Chamaecyparis obtusa and useful as a herbicide and a phytohormone agent, etc., by culturing Cryptosporiopsis-abietina having abscisterol productivity. CONSTITUTION: The objective bioactive substance includes a new bioactive substance abscisterol B expressed by formula I, a new bioactive substance abscisterol C expressed by formula II and a new bioactive substance abscisterol D expressed by formula III, etc. The substance has eliminating activity of a bonding site of scaly leaf of Chamaecyparis obtusa and is useful as a herbicide and a phytohormone agent, etc. These abscisterol compounds are obtained by culturing Cryptosporiopsis-abietina having abscisterol productivity and collecting a bioactive substance from there cultured substance or fungus body. |
