The cover comprises a rectangular panel (1) of a plastic, pref. polypropylene, having folding flaps (4, 5) along its edges (2, 3) which are held together by fastenings (8, 9), e.g. hook and loop strips. The panel can be of an extruded or cellular material with cells closed along its edges. The flaps are folded down and fastened together when the cover is in use, and unfastened to allow the cover to be stored flat.
