The invention concerns a method of inserting a pipe (1) into the ground (4) between two pits (2, 3) located beneath the surface of the ground. A flushing head disposed in front of the pipe in the direction of movement flushes out the space required for the pipe by means of flushing liquid introduced under pressure into the ground, and the flushing liquid is discharged with the flushed-out material counter to the direction of movement through the pipe. To this end, the ground along the planned route of the pipe to be inserted is firstly bored through with controlled pilot rods and the pipe with the flushing head is then drawn through the ground by means of the pilot rods and a drawing device (5) disposed in one (3) of the pits. |
