PURPOSE: To provide a watering device capable of suitably and automatically watering in response to the changes of seasons without requiring a complicated operation such as the setting of a watering time. CONSTITUTION: An automatic watering device driven with a solar battery is provided with a direct current brushless motor pump 3 capable of being directly driven with the direct current generated with a solar battery array 1, a water tank 10, and a hood 2 which has such a shape as directing the light-receiving surface of the solar battery array to the solar light for only a certain time to generate the direct current and as shading the light-receiving surface to stop the generation of the direct current for the other time and whose side faced to the solar battery is subjected to a light reflection-preventing treatment. Water is sprayed from the water tank on a green field through water spray hoses 17 by the use of the pump driven by the output of the direct current from the solar battery array 1. |
