PURPOSE: To easily and evenly coat the surface of a collector with plumbic acid barium in a factory so as to prevent the active materialization of the collector by coating the collector for lead-acid battery with the fluid, which includes barium hydroxide, and heating it. CONSTITUTION: After coating the surface of a collector made of lead or lead alloy with lead dioxide (PbO2 ), the liquid 2, which includes barium hydroxide, is given to this collector 1 so as to adhere the barium hydroxide to the collector 1. The collector 1 is heated 4 at a temperature at a melting point or less in the oxygen or the atmospheric air so as to react the lead dioxide with the barium hydroxide, and the surface of the collector 1 is coated with barium acid barium (baPbO2 ). |
