PURPOSE: To restrain copying paper from curling when introduced into a feed reversing passage by providing a feed reversing means with the feed reversing passage having a curved part, and providing a cooling means for cooling the outside surface of the curved part of the copying paper introduced. CONSTITUTION: Copying paper P with an image thermally fixed thereon by a pair of thermal fixing rollers is introduced into a feed reversing passage 129 as indicated by the two-dot chain line, but since the feed reversing part 129 is curved the paper tends to curl along this curved part. However, an outside guide plate 130 forming the outside of the curved part of the feed reversing passage 129 is provided with a plurality of openings 132, so that cold air works through the openings 132 on the outside surface of the curved part of the copying paper P introduced into the feed reversing passage 129. Therefore, the copying paper P introduced into the feed reversing passage 129 is cooled at the outside surface of its curved part, shrinks in the opposite direction to the curling direction, and is kept from curling. |
