PURPOSE: To perform smooth chucking regardless of the thickness of burr and closing respective chuck pieces in a truncated chevron shape. CONSTITUTION: Respective chuck pieces 24 are opened and closed in a truncated chevron shape through a pair of chuck base parts 56 revolved by a single chuck opening and closing cylinder 23. By this constitution, chucking operation can be performed in an extremely smooth manner.
