Process which comprises: - cutting the fruit of the pomegranate tree, gathering it and sorting it; - placing the fruit on a metal or insulating support in a dry atmosphere and at a temperature of between 15 degree and 40 degree C for 14 to 18 months, during which period the pulp and skin (peel) dry out; - perforating the fruit between the sepals, reaching the pulp, an inner cavity being formed in which a tube with aromatic liquid is placed, the free end of the latter being closed with a cork stopper which is moistened with said liquid by capillary action; - a few stems of dried plants are placed in the free end of the stopper. <IMAGE>
