<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve use of a usable assembly space within a range between an internal combustion engine and a transmission. SOLUTION: This automobile parallel hybrid driving device comprises an internal combustion engine 11, an electric machine 7, and a switching transmission 1. An interrupting clutch 5 connects the electric machine 7 to the internal combustion engine 11 via a first torque transmission passage or to the electric machine 7 via a second torque transmission passage. In the first torque transmission passage, a rotation direction switching type clutch 9 constructed as a flywheel is arranged, and the clutch closes in a rotation driving time from the internal combustion engine 11 and opens in a rotation driving time from the switching and interrupting clutch 5. The rotation direction switching type clutch 9 needs no external release device. Desirably, a direct connection clutch 23 is arranged additionally to the rotation direction switching type clutch 9. The direct connection clutch 23 is connected for starting the internal combustion engine 11 by the electric machine 7 and for braking an automobile by the internal combustion engine 11.</p> |
