PURPOSE: To obtain an easy-to-see document even when a normal, an enlarged, and a reduced print document are present together by setting a page number to a print format in reduced character pattern for enlargement printing when the enlargement printing is specified, and setting the page number to the print format in enlarged character pattern for reduction printing when reduction printing is specified. CONSTITUTION: This printer device is equipped with a print format holding part 20 which holds the print format, the reduced character pattern 13 for printing the page number when the enlargement printing of a character pattern holding part 10 is specified, and the enlarged character pattern 12 for printing the page number when the reduction printing is specified. According to print information indicating normal printing, enlargement printing, or reduction printing, the page number is set by a print format generation part 15 to the print format in the reduced character pattern 13 for the enlargement printing when the enlargement printing is specified and also set by the print format generation part 15 to the print format in the reduced character pattern 12 for the reduction printing when the reduction printing is specified. |
