Composite building block

摘要

A building member, partic. bedding block for surfacing, wallplate, pillar, etc. is formed by a composite block consisting of a base (11) and a cover plate (12) of different materials. Pref. the material for the base is sec. plastic and the cover plate is of sec. plastic with recycled tyre rubber, partic. totally of tyre rubber. The cover plate may include projections (13) of rectangular, square or cylindrical cross section for engagement in recesses (14) of corresp. shape in the base. The member may be entirely of plastic material with additive, e.g. of coal, rubber, PVC, potash, chalk, etc..
