Writing utensil and method of manufacturing it

The invention provides a novel writing utensil featuring easy insertion of a ink holder unit into a main shaft and easy extraction therefrom. Screw 11 or 21 is formed on outer circumferential surface of a coupling portion 12 of a tip stopper 10 or inner circumferential surface of a main shaft 20. The main shaft 20 or the outer circumferential surface of the tip stopper 10 without formation of the screw 11 or 21 is composed of elastic material for allowing the screw 11 or 21 to bite thereinto. When the tip stopper 10 is thrusted into the main shaft 20, the coupling portion 12 of the tip stopper 10 is coupled with the main shaft20. The tip stopper 10 can easily be extracted from the main shaft 20 merely by rotating it in the manner of loosening screw. <IMAGE>
