PURPOSE: To obtain a thermosetting resin composition which can give a sliding member improved in slidability and abrasion resistance without sacrifice to the excellent properties, such as heat resistance, precision moldability, long-term durability and mechanical strengths, inherent in the constituent thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises 100 pts.wt. thermo-setting resin, 50-600 pts.wt. inorganic filler and 2-20 pts.wt. polyolefin powder of a particle diameter of 200μm. The inorganic filler contains 2-35 pts.wt. potassium titanate fibers.
