FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: new water-soluble polyperfluoroalkyl surface active agents and polycarboxy-containing polymers have oil-alcohol repellent properties. This makes it possible to use them in foam compositions for fire-extinguishment of protein or synthetic compounds capable of extinguishing combustion of not only hydrocarbons but also combustion of polar liquids (alcohols, ethers and esters, or the like) without using thickening agents such as polysaccharides. EFFECT: improved properties of the new water-soluble polyperfluoroalkyl surface active agents.
