PURPOSE: To provide an ER (electric rheology) fluid filling vibration isolation supporting device which acts in the same way as a plurality of orifice passages by one orifice passage. CONSTITUTION: In a fluid filling vibration isolation supporting device in which the side walls 14 and partitioning walls 16 of a rubber elastic member are extendedly arranged between outer/inner cylinders 10, 12, respectively having conductivity so as to separately arrange two fluid chambers 20, 22 in which ER fluid is filled, and an orifice passage 26 which is opposed to the outer cylinder 10 and communicates two fluid chambers 20, 22 to each other along the inner circumference of the outer cylinder 10, an electrode plate 32 is attached to a part of the orifice passage 26 by being isolated from the outer cylinder 10. While, a conductive material is connected to the electrode plate 32 by being isolated from the outer cylinder 10 so that voltage can be generated between the conductive material and the outer cylinder 10. |
