PURPOSE: To use a bar-shaped handrail as an ordinary handrail and also as an armrest when using this handrail. CONSTITUTION: An armrest member 28 provided with an armrest plane is attachably and detachably fitted to the main body 22 of the bar-shaped handrail in the state of exposing a part of the main body 22 of the handrail. This armrest member 28 is composed of a plate-shaped member and its both end parts can be attachably and detachably fitted to a bent part 26 in the state of forming a prescribed gap 29 from a main part of the main body 22 of the bar-shaped handrail. |
