<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a succeeding pipe from being damaged due to stress concentration when a preceding pipe is pressed by the succeeding pipe by driving force at the curved section of a buried pipe conduit by forming the height of a rib above the outer circumferential surface of a spigot lower than that of the flange. CONSTITUTION: If the height of a rib 10 is made lower than that of a flange 7, and when external force greater than a specified one is applied to the abutting surface 8 of the flange 7, a portion 7a protruded to the outer circumferential direction farther than the rib 10 of the flange 7, is bent to the rib 10 side. Therefore when a preceding pipe 2 is pressed by a succeeding pipe 4 by driving force bent by the mutual joint section of the preceding pipe 2 and the succeeding pipe 4 at the curved section 24 of a buried pipe conduit, the portion 7a which is protruded to the outer circumferential direction farther than the rib 10 of the flange 7, is bent to the side of the rib 10. As a result, only the one section 7a of the flange 7 is bent, and the succeeding pipe 4 itself is thereby prevented from being damaged.</p> |
