PURPOSE: To provide a steering wheel equipped with an air bag device, which prevents manufacturing manhours and cost from being increased, and can reduce abnormal sound caused by a supporting area formed out of the movable contact plate of a bag holder bottom wall. CONSTITUTION: A bag holder 5 equipped with a bottom wall 6 and a side wall 7 in the air bag device, is connected with a movable contact plate 16 capable of being vertically moved up and down of a horn switch mechanism disposed at the side of a steering wheel main body 11 by a bolt 10 which threadedly joins the plate 16 with the side wall 7 while the bottom wall 6 is being supported. A cover section 9 made of synthetic resin covering a threadedly joining area 7a is disposed at the inner circumferential side of the bolt threadedly joining area of a bag holder 5. Each support wall 6c which is formed with its periphery cut and displaced upward, is formed at a support area by the plate 16 of the bottom wall 6. Each support section 9d which is extended from the cover section 9, and in contact with the plate 16, is disposed underneath the support walls 6c. |
