<p>PURPOSE: To provide a thermal transfer recording method which is excellent in offset resistance, is wide in a transfer fixing temp. range and is hardly affected by a temp. fluctuation at the time of transfer fixing. CONSTITUTION: This thermal transfer recording method comprises transferring and fixing a toner image on a recording member by footing an electrostatic charge image on an image carrier, sticking toners to this electrostatic charge image to form the toner image and bringing the toner image into contact with the recording member in the state of heating the toner image via a heating means. The electrostatic charge image forming surface of the image carrier is coated with a fluororesin. The toners formed by mixing crosslinking agent particles which are brought into crosslinking reaction with a fixing resin having an acid value of 3 to 40KOHmg/g by heating into the toner particles consisting essentially of the fixing resin and coloring agents at a ratio of 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. fixing resin, then dispersing and fixing these particles into or onto the surfaces or into the inside are used.</p> |
