FIELD: medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: device reduces the muscular effort needed for walking and carrying a weight by serving the support function both in the stationary state and in the process of walking and carrying a weight. The device is also applicable for the purpose of reablement therapy. The patient is positioned in the device so that parts 3 and 4 of the leg splints run along the legs on their outer side, and parts 12 and 13 of the arm splints run along the arms on their inner side. The pelvis is seated in saddle 9 so that it takes the most part of burden of the patient's weight. Axillary rests 14 are located in the armpits to provide support for the upper part of the body. The patient walks as if he or she was sitting in an arm-chair. The head rests on head-rest 15, and minimal effort is needed for walking. For training to walk, the device comes in two sets: one set for a healthy man and one set for the patient. The splints of one set are linked to the splints of the other set.
