PURPOSE: To operate an engine in an excellent condition by computing a difference between the quantity of the fuel in the full load condition, which is really injected, and the quantity of the fuel in the full load condition, which is previously set, and automatically performing the positional adjustment of the abutment surface of a fuel limiting tool so that the real fuel injection quantity coincides with the maximum set quantity of fuel injection. CONSTITUTION: In the case where a pressure-contact switch 31 is turned on and the full load condition is detected, a computing unit 41 judges that the real fuel injection quantity is more or less than the maximum fuel injection quantity Q, which is previously set. In the case where the injected fuel quantity is judged less than the maximum fuel injection quantity Q, a moving bolt 25 is moved backward to the fuel increase side R by the different output, and in the case where the injected fuel quantity is judged more than the maximum fuel injection quantity Q, the moving bolt 25 is moved forward to the fuel reduction side L by the different output, and the moving bolt 25 is stopped in the condition that the injected fuel quantity coincides with the maximum set fuel injection quantity. Operating condition of an engine is thereby maintained well.
