PURPOSE: To provide a method for judging a packaged bean curd and a lighting fixture therefor wherein an image of a packaged bean curd is taken out from above the packaged bean curd by means of a CCD camera, which image is binarized to precisely judge the quality of the packaged bean curd. CONSTITUTION: A lighting box 1 of square prism-shape, which accommodates a circular fluorescent lamp 2 and in which slits 3 serving as outlets of slits of light are formed, is mounted to the lower part of a box 5. A CCD camera 6 is mounted on the top of the box 5. Such box 5 is disposed so that slits of light from the slits 3 are applied onto a packaged bean curd P to be inspected at an angle of 15 deg.-35 deg., in a downwardly oblique direction from the center of the lighting box 1. By such arrangement, an image of the packaged bean curd P is taken out and binarized to judge the quality of the packaged state of bean curd. |
