PURPOSE: To improve demand for devil's-tongue by developing a meat-like paste made from the starch of the devil's-tongue to imitate fish meat or beef. CONSTITUTION: This meat-like paste made from the starch of devil's-tongue comprises a base 1 composed of a colored paste made from the starch of the devil's-tongue mixed with differently colored small pieces 2 of a paste made from the starch of the devil's-tongue in a scattered state. The meat-like paste made from the starch of the devil's-tongue is produced by blending powder of devil's-tongue with water, a coloring matter and small pieces of devil's-tongue colored differently from the color of the coloring matter in a give ratio, allowing to stand the mixture for a fixed time, adding a coagulant to the mixture, forming it into a fixed shape and coagulating. |
