The present invention relates to a method of performing leakage measurements in a non-pressurized pipe network, in particular a drain network with waste water and/or surface water pipes. The purpose of the invention is, on a number of levels of detail, to locate rapidly and effectively and to be able to estimate or determine the leakage from the pipe network. In this connection, use is made of a leakage-indication agent, tracer-marked liquid of uniform concentration being added at a first point upstream in the pipe network in the area to be investigated, alternatively tracer being added at constant concentration and flow to liquid present in the pipe, after which different tracers are added at each of one or more points downstream, after which samples are taken in the pipe to determine the concentration of the respective tracer, after which any leakage between the sampling points, with the desired degree of detail, can be located and or estimated/determined. |
