PURPOSE: To protect the corners of a stainless steel counter and securely restrict the movement thereof, by packing it in a cardboard box in a state that specified pads made of cardboard are put on the projected corners and the diagonal sides of the stainless steel counter. CONSTITUTION: When a stainless steel counter 12 which has the rear end corner angled below 90 degrees, 45deg. for instance, and also has a diagonal side 26 in the right or the left direction extending therefrom, is packed by use of a cardboard box 14. First and second pads 30, 32 are attached to the corners 24. The first pad 30 is provided with the first folded piece 34 positioned to contact the rear face of the corner 24, the second folded piece 36 bent 180 degrees against the first folded piece 34 and extended therefrom, the third folded piece 38 positioned to contact the right and left side faces of the cardboard box, the fourth folded piece to forming a triangular shape together with true third folded piece 38, and the fifth folded piece 42. The second pad 32 is made to form a rectangular shape. |
