Automated enzyme immunoassay method for quantitative determn. of analytes is performed in a fluid injection system with an affinity reactor contg. immobilised protein A or G. The method is characterised in that: (a) fresh antibody is introduced into the system for each assay; (b) the whole analyte detection procedure is performed in the affinity reactor, and (c) the affinity reactor is reactivated with a regeneration medium after each assay.
