A central suspension point (4) enables the ram body or bodies to be positioned in the pipeline section being tested. Pressure drillings (9) are provided in the endface of the ram body (2;3), for the reception of the inflow and/or the measurement in a control shaft of seepage below the measurement place. Several ram bodies (2;3) can be arranged successively one behind the other, also with large pipeline gradients. So that before the individual ram bodies, a water level can be produced in the region of max. filling. The length of the cylinders of the ram bodies is approximately the same as their dia.
