GLASS COMPOSITIONS FOR SEALING

摘要

The glass composition comprises solid lead oxide - zinc oxide - boron oxide(PbO-ZnO-B2O3) glass and baddeleyite as a filler component. This composition has the advantage that thermal strain does not occur at the interface between the crystalline glass and filler. Additionally, crystallization time is reduced because of the role of a nucleating agent having baddeleyite itself. It has good mechanical strength because of the toughness of the filler used.
