<p>PURPOSE: To provide structure for connecting a cable and a connector, which can easily perform the connecting work at a low cost, and to obtain the rotary connector enabling excellent assembly work at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A molded cable 1, in which plural conductors 3 are embedded in parallel with each other inside a belt-like molded insulator 2, and an outside connector 17, of which plural terminals 20 are fixed to a connector case 18, are connected to each other. At the time of this connection, the rear end of each terminal 20 is formed with a wide width part 20a projected in the arrangement direction, and these wide width parts 20a are extended into a housing recessed part 22 of the connector case 18, and in the condition that each conductor 3 is overlapped on the corresponding wide width part 20a, both are connected to each other by spot welding or ultrasonic welding. This structure for connecting the molded cable 1 and the outside connector 17 can be applied to the structure for connecting an output cable, which is connected to a lead-out part of a flexible cable housed in the inside space of a rotary connector, and an outside connector to be fitted to the output terminal of this output cable.</p> |
