PURPOSE: To instantaneously cancel a state wherein the automatic vending machine becomes ready to carry an article out on sending wireless card that a passerby bears by mistake. CONSTITUTION: This automatic vending machine is equipped with a human body sensor 2 which detects a person being in a specific area in front of it and a reader 3 which reads necessary data out of the wireless card by radio. A controller 13 decides whether or not there is a person in the specific area on the basis of the output of the human body sensor 2 until an article selection switch 10 is operated after the automatic vending machine is made ready to carry an article out by reading the specific data out of the wireless card by the card reader 3. If no person exits in the area halfway, the processing is canceled and the automatic vending machine is put back into its initial state. |
